Biggs

Kenneth Biggs is a bass and tenor trombonist active in the Portland, Oregon metro area. After earning his bachelor’s degree from Humboldt State University, Mr. Biggs went on to study with members of the Oregon Symphony, including Warren Baker, and later studied occasionally with Peter Ellefson and Charles Reneau.

He was, for twenty years, second and bass trombonist with the Portland Columbia Symphony, and for fifteen years was trombonist with the Portland Brass Quintet. Mr. Biggs has played with several professional and regional groups including The Oregon Symphony, the Portland Baroque Orchestra, and the Portland Festival Symphony, amongst others.
