Burgstahler

Albert P. Burgstahler is a trombonist living in Northern Virginia. Born and raised in Lawrence Kansas he studied with Professors Robert Ford, Richard Cryder, and Steven Anderson of the University of Kansas. Professional trombonist, Harold Keen also had great influence on him. Albert was a member of the Interlochen World Youth Symphony and played principal trombone with the University of Kansas Symphony Orchestra.   While working in Central California from 1983 to 1997 he played in regional ensembles including the Sierra Symphony. Now residing in Northern Virginia he is lead trombone with the Tom Cunningham Orchestra and a member of 7th Position, a trombone quartet.
