Coleridge Taylor

Samuel Coleridge-Taylor was an English composer who was once called the "African Mahler". During his short life he composed over 85 works in a variety of forms: chamber music, Symphonies, Opera, Concertos, Oratorio, songs and solos. His most noted work is "Hiawatha's Wedding Feast" a choral work from 1898. The 100th anniversary of his death has inspired more performances of his fine music.
