Cooper

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Tommy Cooper graduated from the University of Georgia, where he studied trombone with Phillip Jameson.  Upon graduation, he secured a position at a commercial recording studio in Atlanta as an assistant engineer and embarked upon a forty-plus-year-long career engineering and producing music in a variety of genres.  His career took him to Nashville, where he has remained for over thirty years.  When he’s not recording, he plays trombone, euphonium, alp horn and almglocken (tuned cowbells) with Nashville’s premier German band, Die Musikmeisters and also performs with the Big E-Z Dixieland Band in addition to other freelance work.

His hobbies include music, tennis, and a lot of other fun things.
