Fishkin

Nir Fishkin was born in Tel-Aviv, Israel in 1989. Graduated with a master degree from Codarts Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, studying with Brandt Attema. Mr. Fishkin did his bachelor Buchmann-Meheta school of Music at Tel Aviv University, in the class of Eliezer Aharoni (former, Jerusalem symphony orchestra IBA) and Micha Davis (Israel philharmonic orchestra).

Nir played with several orchestras, include the Academy program of the Metropol orchestra (Hilversum, the Netherlands), the Jerusalem symphony orchestra IBA, the Netanya-Kibutz chamber orchestra, Symphonette Raanana and the Israel sinphonietta Be'er-Sheva. He also played under important conductors as Zubin Meheta, Johan de Meij, Justus Frantz, Yoav Talmi, among others.

Mr. Fishkin Participated in masterclasses with Stefan Schulz, Jesper busk Sorensen (Berlin philharmonic) Ben van Dijk (Rotterdam philharmonic), Martin Schippers (Het Concertgebow orchestra), Ian Bousfield (former, Vienna philharmonic), George Curran (New-York Philharmonic), Bart van-Lier (the Metropole orchestra, the Netherlands), Hakan Bjorkman (The Sweedish Radio orchestra), Tomer Maschkowski (Deutsches Symphonie Orchestra Berlin), Randall Hawes (Detroit Symphony orchestra) and Rex Martin.

Nir did his military services at the IDF military band from 2007 to 2010, playing the trombone and euphonium.

Graduated cum laude from the Municipal Music Center Tel - Aviv - Jaffa, where he studied the euphonium with Liron Rinot (the Israeli symphony orchestra, Rishon- LeZion) and Eliezer Aharoni. Between the years 2005-2007, Nir played at the Israeli national youth wind orchestra.
