Locke
Matthew Locke was an English Baroque composer and music theorist. He was involved with contributing to the creation of a number of operas, worked for King Charles and was a friend of the Purcell family, most likely having a musical influence on the young Purcell.
His treatise on music theory, Melothesia was published in 1673.
