Morales

Cristobal de Morales (c. 1500-1553) was a Spanish composer of from the Renaissance period. He started off his career as a singer in the Vatican. Almost all of his compositions are sacred, vocal. His many masses, over 100 motets, 18 settings of the Magnificat set him alone as "the light of Spain in music" and the first Spanish composer of international fame.
